We know that many of you are curious and/or dying to know how we met. Well, we put together this little mock interview to answer that.

Q: Let’s get down to business. How did you two lovebirds meet?

Aaron: I was working undercover for the CIA in Bahrain. Mandy was my target; I was sent to kill her, but we fell in love instead.

Mandy: He loves telling that story, but it’s not true… obviously.

Q: Okay, so how did you two really meet?

Mandy: We met online. It was a Christian dating app called Holy.

Aaron: Actually, you saw me on another app before that, but swiped no because of my hair. (Laughs)

Mandy: (Laughs) It’s true. I wasn’t sure about the hair, so I swiped no, but I liked Aaron’s profile and what he said about his faith. I had second thoughts and tried to go back, but the app wouldn’t let me.

Q: That hair is… a lot.

Aaron: Hey—

Mandy: (Laughs) I actually like it now.

Q: Okay, you swiped no. Then what happened?

Mandy: Two weeks later, I saw him on the Holy app and had a desire to look past his hair and get to know his heart. I sent him a wave and he messaged me back almost immediately.

Q: That was quick. Was it an instant connection?

Aaron: Once we started talking, I could tell the potential of something was there. There was a rapid familiarity between us and we could both tell that we were on the same page about a lot of issues.

Mandy: It was like we just fit well together.

Aaron: I just wasn’t sure at first if it would work out because of our age difference.

Q: Age difference?

Mandy: Babe, I’m only 7 months older than you.

Aaron: She’s my cougar.
